The Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft (Cultural Policy Society) invited us to contribute to their brochure “Weg in die Next Society?! - Kulturen der Digitalität für einen nachhaltigen Wandel” (The Road to the Next Society?! - Cultures of Digitality for Sustainable Change). In it, Nina Maria Stemberger shows how AI experiments, VR installations, and transdisciplinary collaborations not only create aesthetic experiences but also develop concrete solutions to ecological challenges. She describes why the combination of artistic vision and scientific method could be the key to a more sustainable future. An inspiring insight into the practice of an art form that is aware of its social responsibility and shows that the stage of the future is digital, sustainable, and radically participatory.
